I use pscp (which comes with Putty) to transfer data to and from Win 7 to BBB.
The old distribution of Debian for the BBB booted as root and pscp worked fine.
The new (March 2017) release boots as 'debian', pwd 'temppwd' pscp has a flag -pw so you can set a password but I get asked for it when pscp runs and then ' access denied'.
Well I looked at that and I ran in to a different problem. Apparently WinSCP requires the SSH Host Key (which I don't have). When I was using PSCP there was a way to automate the acceptance of the Host Key. But from what I can tell in reading the WinSCP C# documentation there doesn't seem to be any way to automatically accept the Host Key. Any ideas?
1. ssh to the host using PuTTY and accept the host key.
2. WinSCP will then work.
