how to get php running on slackware

hi, i just installed my slackware apache, but it doesn't suport php?
atleast it doesn't show my php site online...
what do i need to do/install to let php run on my server ?

i hope some of you know how to, because al my friends had the same problem, so.. you guys are my last hope.. ones again ;-)

Did you add (or comment out) the required Types to the httpd.conf?

first you have to install the php package, or compile the source (probably you have )
Then in bottom of your /etc/apache/httpd.conf you have to uncomment the line that includes the mod_php.conf file.

Or include this lines if you prefer.
LoadModule php4_module libexec/
AddModule mod_php4.c
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

It's usefull to include index.php in the DirectoryIndex directive.
