How to get lpq working

Hi all:
With one of my machines on Debian amd64, I can print, except deleting jobs. "lpq" does not exist as a command.

.............# cat /etc/cups/printers.conf
# Printer configuration file for CUPS v1.5.3
# Written by cupsd
# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE WHEN CUPSD IS RUNNING
<DefaultPrinter Deskjet-D4200-series>
UUID urn:uuid:44af52e0-3efe-3f9f-6706-b9e9bc34b6bd
Info HP Deskjet D4200 series
MakeModel HP Deskjet d4200 Series hpijs, 3.12.6
DeviceURI usb://HP/Deskjet%20D4200%20series?serial=TH7BA5216204XV
State Idle
StateTime 1350915310
Type 8425484
Accepting Yes
Shared Yes
JobSheets none none
QuotaPeriod 0
PageLimit 0
KLimit 0
AllowUser francesco
OpPolicy default
ErrorPolicy stop-printer
</Printer>
.............#

Normally, I would expect instead:

DeviceURI lpq:.......

With command

.......# /usr/sbin/lpadmin -p Deskjet-D4200-series -v device-uri
lpadmin: Bad device-uri "device-uri".
.......#

Thanks for advice.

How to get lpq working. SOLVED

Solved by myself. In linux world, with graph interfaces the more and more tending to Microsoft/Apple, if you (like me) refuse to install metapackages, you risk to miss needed packages. It was the case in point with gnome.
