How to get a text menu during boot with LILO?

Hello,

I just installed Red Hat 9 on a computer that has Windows XP Pro on it already. Red Hat set-up LILO to show methis low resolution graphical menu, with Red Hat logo on it, where I can choose what OS to load. I remmeber when I set-up Mandrake, I had a simple DOS-like text menu. My question is how can I get that back? Mandrake had a gui configuration for LILO where I could choose al lthese options what aboit Red Hat 9?

Thank you in advance.

Uh, are you trying to disable the graphical menu permanently or are you just trying to get to the text interface? Because if you're just trying to get to the text interface, I'd ask if you've tried pressing Escape :-), otherwise check into /etc/lilo.conf for options (too lazy to figure it out for you right now).

Escape does not do anything, as far as lilo.conf I tried to modify some settings but I still get the graphical RedHat menu on boot rather then a DOS-like blue menu.

You have to run "lilo" to apply any changes from lilo.conf to your MBR
