how to FORCE firefox to open ALL pages in tabs?

I want to force firefox to concentrate all pages in tabs, i just want ONE firefox window. I mean, i want to open popups, bookmarks, external links (amsn for example), middle-click on links all in tabs. Is it possible?

As far as I know there is an option in FF 1.5 that does what you are asking for, although I don't know about amsn.
just go to Tools->Options then click on the Tabs and down there you can see an option which says: "Force links that open new window to open in new:" and click on the "New tab" radio button.
I don;t know if this option was there in FF 1.0.4 though.

If you are using an older version of FF, then there are a few extensions that can handle "Single Window Mode".

This works on firefox 1.0-1.5. The default set up for tabs after this is installed is to attempt to open everything in a tab.
