how to extract a picture from a postscript

Hello,

I wonder if it is possible to extract a picture from a PostScript document. Should I hack the file, or is there some tool ?

Thanks.

If nothing else works, you could use psselect to extract the page that the picture is on, and then load the page into gimp.

You could select the part that you want and then paste as new. Or use the crop & resize tool, select the region to cut out and click on the crop button. Now you can export the image as the type of file that you want.
