How to exchange vesa wrestler with radeon driver in Ubuntu-14.04
I did a fresh install of the trusty tahr on my netbook (specs in my signature). It starts with the vesa wrestler graphics driver -- excruciatingly slow. Resolution is wrong too, so I don't see some parts of popping up windows... I want to change that and use the radeon driver.
I'm unfamiliar with Ubuntu. How would I go about that? I looked into system settings -> software but found no clue, not even how to search for it. fglrx is not found either in the main screen search facility (dash?).
Any pointers would be appreciated.
