me too , Chinese ,and use opera 8.5,and use fcitx input.

No luck! I used to be on Mandriva 2005 LE, no problem. Now I have upgraded to Mandriva 2006.0, Opera 8.5 and fcitx 3.11, can't acitivate input method in Opera. It's all OK in other programs.
