Question how to enable chmod on vsftp?

Hello everybody... :-)

i'm using vsftp...
whenever i log in and want to execute an chmod command, vsftp tells me, that this command doesn't exist...

how can i enable this command under vsftp?

Hello Jimmy,

Well, you will need to add a directive to the file /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf to enable changing of permissions...


Also, I searched LQ and noticed this thread..Take a look at this configuration file posted in the thread below and hope its useful for you.
