How to edit the ps figure in linux

When I install other requirements for gimp, like
(rpm -ivh freetype-2.1.4-5.i386.rpm). It is reported by
the computer that "file /usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6 from install of freetype-2.1.4-5 conflict
s with file from package freetype-2.1.3-6
file /usr/lib/libttf.so.2.3.0 from install of freetype-2.1.4-5 conflicts
with file from package freetype-2.1.3-6"

How to remove the conflicts. Thanks a lot!

Well you can try an update: rpm -Uvh my_package.rpm
Or you can remove the older and then install the newer. Be careful with such a solution 'cause if you do that with a critical package, you may break your Linux (no risk with freetype).

Finally, I install a low-version gimp. But
when I open the gs file, the resolution is
still not high.
