How to edit .so file ?


Hi guyz . i have a file (it's a plugin for game) i want to edit it .
the format of file is .so
how can i edit it ? is there any program for edditing that ?

Basically you shouldn't be mucking with binaries in the first place: if you need to make structural changes then recompile it. Sure you could try a hexeditor but note if you're trying to subvert any restrictions (as in cracking / warez related ops) then LQ isn't the place to ask about that kind of stuff.

Normally you don't "edit" a .so file - as a shared library you rebuild it from source, making any necessary changes to the source file.
