How To Display The Title Of A Movie On My Movie Player Software

When I get a DVD, the first thing I do is to "rip" it so I can watch it on my computer (the DVD lives in my closet).

Now, the movie, on my computer, does not display the title of the movie. Why? And how do I change that in the future?

Also, I generally (meaning always) use handbrake to rip the movie.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

(the solution is probably easy, but it eludes me)

META Tags. Maybe you got a tag it, then what video player are you using, look to how to show title. VLC build in add tags title and others items. and exiftool and a few others out there to adding META tags, (not sure if exiftool if for videos, you'll have to look into that, I use it for reading mp3s meta tags.)
