How to disable scim autostart?

I've just installed scim. Using KDE and SuSE 9.3. After starting scim for the first time using the command 'scim -d', I find that scim is now launched automatically every time I start a new session with kde. Doing a 'ps -ax' shows these 4 entries:

/usr/lib/scim-1.0/scim-launcher -d -c simple -e all -f socket --no-stay
/usr/lib/scim-1.0/scim-launcher -d -c socket -e socket -f x11
/usr/lib/scim-1.0/scim-panel-gtk --display :0.0 -c socket -d --no-stay

How do I disable the autostart of this programme? Where and what are the files that I need to configure? A quick check shows that /'home directory'/.kde/Autostart is empty and there is also no .xim file there.

Thanks in advance.
