Talking How to disable login sound?

I had disabled login sound frm sound menu and frm login window menu , but still works, can anybody provide a remedy for this.

Have you tried going to System --> Preferences --> Sound and setting the login sound to 'No Sound'? If all else fails you could try either replacing the /usr/share/sounds/login.wav file with a blank or silent wav file or just rename/remove it.

I would check your sessions in System-->Preferences-->Sessions There uncheck or remove login sound... If using the gnome it will say 'Gnome login sound' something like this... This is how I removed my login sound...

No prob man... Also if you wanna speed your startup you can edit your sessions even further... Removing things that you know you dont need
