How to disable Knoqueror auto-scrolling?

Whenever I paste something into a form on a web page using the middle button, Konqueror starts auto-scrolling and I have to click the get it to stop. This is very annoying and I never use auto-scrolling anyway, so is there a way to turn it off? I didn't see anything in Konqueror's settings.

Using the middle button as paste is probably going to cause you more problems than just this, but you have every right to set it up as you see fit.

You need to remap your mouse buttons via Xorg. In other words, this isn't a function of Konqueror.

That's like telling me to stop using virtual desktops because they're not standard on that other popular OS. It never caused me any problems before (it even worked in Konqueror just fine until recently). Why do you think it woud be problematic?

Try it. Select some test, then use the middle mouse buttin to paste (no menus or key shortcuts). I'm pretty sure that it will soon be a feature you use all the time and won't be able to live without.

How will this help?
