How to disable flash and gif animation in mozilla

i cannot see how it is possible to block animated gif's but
maybe somehow it is ...
is the closest thing i guess would be ...
tools --> image manager
... but that will block all images for the site ...

as of flash ...
remove the plugin

above -> replace x.x with the mozilla version number ...
