How to cut and paste images using Firefox or konqueror web browsers

I would like to know how to copy images that I find on the internet using either the Firefox or konqueror web browser.

The reason why I am asking this is that I know that with MS internet explorer all you have to do is right click on an image and copy it and then open a program and then paste it there.

How do I do that with either Firefox or konqueror?

Well, as of KDE 3.4, in Konqueror you can right-click on an image and select "copy image," then paste it into some other application. I don't remember it this worked in older versions, as it's not something I ever do.

Right click, copy, paste works fine in Firefox.
