How to create an email with sound and images included?

Hallo:

I'm trying to create an email which includes an image and a sound file.
Users don't have internet connection in many cases for http, so sound and img should be included in the same mail.
I'll like that sound plays automatically.

Any suggestion.

Yes, it's for a Christmas card.

What version/distro of Linux are you using? What email program?

You say you'd like the sound to play automatically. Unless you create some sort of powerpoint presentation, that'll be difficult, since the client on the other end will have to know what to do with it.

And the obvious question....if the users don't have an internet connection, how exactly are they going to get email???

My Linux is Kubuntu 8.04.

I suppose that the best way will be a ppt. I've tried with Outlook Express from windows (which allows to put a sound as background), but some email clients process it as an attach.

Most users are inside the corporation, so they don't need internet access (we have email servers inside).
