how to convert text(html) back to html.

My wording is probably not correct so bare with me.

I lost an email that was in html.
I found it in ./thunderbird/* in ordinary text.

How can it be converted back to an html message?
It is VERY important email that I need.

All the information that was displayed in the E-mail should be in the text file, HTML just display's it differently.

If you see the <tags/> in the text file. Just change the name to "something.html" and is should display in your browser.

As an alternative, see if you can display the message in Thunderbird. Then click the "View" menu item, and select one of the "Display as HTML" choices.

I opened the file in 'kwrite"
<*/> found nothing.
I am assuming this should work.

How do I open this file?
How do I get it into Mozilla mail?
I do not see any way to open it in Mozilla mail.

If the tags are still there just rename it <something>.html and view it with a browser.
