how to convert kaffeine m2t (mpeg ts) to mp3

I've recorded some DVB-T radio shows using Kaffeine in Kaffeine's default m2t (MPEG-TS) file format and want to re encode them to mp3. I reckon the audio is mp2 or maybe mp1 and I can play them fine in MPlayer, Amarok and Kaffeine, but can't get LAME to recognise them as valid input files. Anybody know what to do?

Try ffmpeg. It can handle just about anything. It uses lame to encode mp3 audio.

'ffmpeg -i inputfile -f mp3 -acodec mp3 -ab 128 -ar 44100 -vn outputfile.mp3'

I would recommend you also try convert ts which is free to download trial software.
