how to control some soundcards

i'm a new comer in this forum....

i have a problem, maybe you can help me....

how to control some mics from 2 soundcards that installed on my PC??
help me please.....urgent....

Well, with alsamixer perhaps? You should be able to specify the card with '-c <cardnum>' if I remember correctly, perhaps you can change cards in alsamixer inside too. If by control you mean volume control/muting of course.

kummiliim....thank u....i have found the answer.

"control" here, i mean, not just control the volume level but how to set input gain level, bass level, and treble simultaneously from multiple soundcards.

let me simplified, i'm making an aplication that allow user to control or mix the sound via web. such as virtual mixer but u can control it via web.
that's all.
