How to configure TightVNC?

Hello everyone, I am an inexperienced Linux user and I have to get a TightVNC server going as a part of my project at university.

I have performed a "urpmi tightvncserver" and have it starting when the machine boots, I have modified the /etc/sysconfig/vncservers file to take out the comment and have changed the user to root.
I still can't log in though

What is wrong?

Is there a guide somewhere?

All help is appreciated.

Thanks
Dane
