how to configure a proxy for btdownloadheadless?

does anyone know how to configure a proxy for btdownloadheadless?

AFAIK btdownloadheadless.p doesn't use proxies. If you think you *can* and need to proxy Bittorrent traffic search for "transparent +proxy +howto" or use an app that does proxy instead.
