How to compile firefox standalone?

I can't seem to find source for just firefox, you either get mozilla source or none of it.

I am not sure how to tell ./configure to set it up to compile and brand for firefox.

Has anyone had expierience?

Why don't I just apt it? Because I'd like the performance gains from compiling myself.

Thanks.
