Question How to change the partition flags on a CR-RW? (re. boot media)

I want to set CD flags to boot, lba.

I use GParted in Linux, and Windows 10. GParted doesn't count my CD as a partition/volume.

There is no CD boot flag and they do not have partitions.

The BIOS / UEFI boot order determines if the optical drive boots.

What are you trying to accomplish?

That's important knowledge, keep me from running around in circles.

I'm trying to boot a two linux distribution CD with grub or isolinux boot loader.

Choosing the CD in BIOS isn't an issue, as other CDs boot when inserted.
