How to change the display color depth in RHEL 8.3.
Older versions of RHEL allowed changing the color depth of the display. I am running RHEL 8.3 with a default depth at 24 bits. I have some apps that need 16 bits. How can I change to 16 bits?
this is not related to gnome or kde or any other desktop, but the X server itself. You need to specify the required color depth (if you don't like the default).
