How to change icons for Firebird and Thunderbird.

Hi all,
I am using Mozilla Firebird and Thunderbird as my default browser and mailer. I have 2 small problems with them:

1. They have the same icon, it's really hard to tell them apart when I am switching among programs using alt+tab. I'm running Gnome 2.2.

2. How can I make Thunderbird the default hanlder for "mailto" in Firebird? And how do I tell Thunderbird to launch Firebird when I clicked an URL in an email?

Thanks a lot.

You don't what its like running KDE3.1 AND Gnome2.2 at the same time on one machine! Cooooooollllll

Anyway,

You need to go into Desktop Prefrences->Advanced->file types and programs.

Look up stuff there, this may help, to start off with.

As for the programs themselves, I don't know. Its a hunt through prefrences I think!
