How to change from grub boot loader to lilo boot loader

Dear All

I am wanting to convert my default boot loader to lilo from grub on fedora core 5 .

For this I collected lilo-21 .....rpm from Reda Hat 9.

But I am confused how to convert from grub to lilo which will be priomary boot loaader for my system

After installing the lilo rpm, you have to create a configuration file for lilo called /etc/lilo.conf and after doing that you need to write the configuration to the mbr by running lilo as root:

# /sbin/lilo -v

Be very careful when running lilo as an error in configuration could leave your system unbootable.
