Question how to change Charset in apache 2.0.63

Hi,

In my office i am using apache2.0.63, which is not the default RPM package, its the compiled one from the source code by my manager.
He i am trying to change the default Charset ISO-8859-1 to Charset UTF-8.
I tried by adding the below entries in httpd.conf file
"AddDefaultCharset UTF-8"
"AddDefaultCharset Off"
But its not getting changed, can any one help me?..

I am just guessing but isn't it case sensitive? I would try AddDefaultCharset utf-8.
