How to burn iso images onto CD

Hello All,
I'm new to Linux environment. Please help! I have downloaded the ISO images from Red Hat and burn them onto the CD. The document says that ISO images will be recorded differently on the CD. IS it supposed to extract the ISO images on the CD and make it bootable? When I burn them to the CD, it just write this ISO images without extracting or doing anything and I cannot use this to install Linux. Please help!:smash:

you need to specify when burning that they are iso image files.. then your program should burn them correctly..

If you're using Nero (which I suggest), use File-->Burn Image.

If you are using adeptec software all you need to do is double click the iso image which you have downloaded and it would open the cd burner software for you. And burn it as data.
