How to burn CD-R & CD-RW ?

Is scsi emulation enabled? If not, it wont work,

It is enabled...I made plenty of work in order to make it work. I carefully followed the instructions and tested it and it works...

But I think it was allready enabled. I made needless work, I think.

Is the symlink /dev/cdrom -> scd0 (or something like that) established? Or does it still point to an IDE drive (hdc etc)? Also, is the line 'append="hdc=ide-scsi"' (substitute your actual cd block device for hdc) included in your lilo.conf?

Why E-roaster can detect my CD-RW the writer as scd0, but can not detect my CDROM the reader ?

Symlinks are O.K. I found a really usefull and well written tutorial how to do it...
