How to burn a Blu-ray Disk from a Debian iso-image?

Hello,

can somebody give me a short tutorial, how is the best way to burn one blue-ray disk from the debian lenny 5.0 iso-image (18,7GB)?

From here for example:
http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/...i386/jigdo-bd/

I want to use the mount command to open the iso-file and this works, but if i drag and drop the files to the new blue-ray disk, the Nero Linux Vers. 3523 Programm is closed immediately.

mount -o loop /media/disk-2/Debian-500-i386-bd/udf/debian-500-i386-BD-1.iso /mnt/music/disc

Is something wrong in the mount command? Do I forget the udf filesystem?

Its seems to be, the problem is the "debian" directory in the iso-image-file. All the other files and directorys can I drag and drop to burn a new blu-ray. But if i drag and drop the debian directory, the nero linux programm get out.

Best regards, cm

If it's an iso image, I believe you just use "Create Disc from Image". At least, that's how it works with regular iso images...

From a commandline do something like
Code:
growisofs -speed=2 -dvd-compat -Z /dev/dvd=image.iso
Where /dev/dvd is your blue ray writer and image.iso is your debian image (so change them appropriately). You can skip the speed if you want and it should default to best speed, I think.

Hello,
the blu-ray was suuccessfully burned and booting from disc is ok.

But at the end of the screen the message:

Code:
20048248832/20054315008 (100.0%) @1.0x, remaining 0:01 RBU 18.2% UBU 99.5%
builtin_dd: 9792160*2KB out @ average 0.9x4390KBps
/dev/sr0: flushing cache
/dev/sr0: closing track
/dev/sr0: closing session
:-[ CLOSE SESSION failed with SK=5h/INVALID FIELD IN CDB]: Input/output error"
is meaning that something was wrong.

Can I ignore the error message and the burned disc is ok?

Best regards, cm

No idea. I haven't actually worked with Blu-ray stuff. It reads like maybe it didn't close the session properly. Not sure if that will cause issues or not...
