How to build libphp4.so for advx

My Mandrake 10 system came with the advx flavor of apache installed with php4.3.4. Now I want to upgrade php to 4.3.9 because 4.3.4 wasn't configured with the options that I want. My question is, how can I build the apache module since advx doesn't have apxs. Note that I have the new version of php installed and working, but advx still uses the old version.

Any ideas?

Also, I did configure php with --enable-shared. Does this mean that shared module was created? If so, where would it be located? There is no file called mod_php4.so (except for the original) that I can find.

Here are the other options I configured php with:
./configure --prefix=/usr --exec-prefix=/usr --bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc
--datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include --libdir=/usr/lib --libexecdir=/usr/lib
--localstatedir=/var/lib --sharedstatedir=/usr/com --mandir=/usr/share/man
--infodir=/usr/share/info --enable-discard-path --disable-force-cgi-redirect --enable-shared
--disable-static --disable-debug --disable-rpath --enable-pic --enable-inline-optimization
--enable-memory-limit --with-config-file-path=/etc --with-config-file-scan-dir=/etc/php
--with-pear=/usr/share/pear --enable-magic-quotes --enable-debugger --enable-track-vars
--with-exec-dir=/usr/bin --with-versioning --with-mod_charset --with-regex=php
--enable-track-vars --enable-trans-sid --enable-safe-mode --enable-ctype --enable-ftp
--with-gettext=/usr --enable-posix --enable-session --enable-sysvsem --enable-sysvshm
--enable-yp --with-openssl=/usr --without-kerberos --with-ttf --with-freetype-dir=/usr
--with-zlib=/usr --with-zlib=/usr --with-zlib-dir=/usr --without-pear --with-gettext --with-xml
--with-mysql --with-mcrypt --with-imap=/usr/local/imap-2004a --with-imap-ssl=/usr

These are all the options that were configured with the original install plus the options that I need now.

Never mind. Got it fixed. I downloaded apache2, rebuilt php adding the necessary configure option
Code:
--with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs
Then copied the shared module for apache to the correct location for advx.
