How to backup gnome evolution email and seting
 
I want to install a new version of my linux distribution I'm using gnome Evolution 2.6.0

How do I can backup my gnome evolution email and seting?

How to import this backup afer I reinstall my Linux distribution?

Usually all your personal settings go into your home directory, into subdirectories that start with a dot.
Type
Code:

cd
ls -d .*

and you will see all your settings. Your Evolution settings will be there, as well as everything else. Usually you can just copy them over to your new installation.

I'd suggest copying the whole /home to somewhere (CD, DVD, memory stick) at this point.

I'm not sure what you are about to do. Update Suse 9.3 to 10.x? Reinstall Suse 9.3? Install another distro?
