How to automate accessing several webpages, issuing mouseclicks, etc. - macros?

Hi guys

I'm looking for a way to use "macros" like was possible with the ancient Borland "sidekick" app - i.e . record keystrokes and mouse actions and play them back later?

Actually, the problem is that I have a set of webpages I have to access from which statistic files in .pdf are generated. They are password protected, and you need to click on certain dropdowns and buttons, etc. to get the eventual .PDF download.

Doing it manually takes -hours- - often input will have to wait fro the results of clicks to come available, before clicking on the next element, etc.

Is there any way to "automate" this? I. e. have mouseclicks and keyboard actions "automagically" take place, but not too "fast" so they get lost if the network is slow or the server busy? The clicks and keyboard input is predictable, and always in the same locations.

Thanks
