How to add/remove programs in Fedora Core Version 6.

I have installed the Red Hat Fedora Version 6. When I want to add/remove programs in this it is giving error stating
"Unable to Retreive Software Information.
Unable to Retreive Software Information. This could be caused by not having a network connection available"
Cannot Find a valid baseuri for repo : Core"

After this the window closes of.

Help me in this regard.

With Thanks,
