Question how to Add board specific code into the kernel tree.


hi all,

i am using ARM PXA 255 board..i m trying to compile and boot linux 2.6 V for this board but not getting the results..please help me to sort out the problem and also how to Add board specific code into the kernel tree.

what is the error ?

You will need to use a cross-compiler for ARM and build the entire toolchain. Usually the board suppliers provide a Linux development environment. What have you done so far?

I don't know what you mean by board-specific code. Drivers can always be contributed to the kernel (after going through a very long process where everyone tells you your code isn't good enough).
