How remove a remote directory?

The directory is no empty.I want completly remove it.I tryed rm,rmdir delecte...They didn't work.

rm -r /dir/to/remove should do it. The -r flag tells the program to remove the directories recursively.

Try checking out the help options and man pages in the future. Not only will they generally answer your question, but often you end up finding out a lot more about the program than you would otherwise.
