How many times should I run the simulation in ns2?
 

Hello all
when I design my network using tcl and run the ns2 simulation. How many time should I run my simulation to be in safe side?
Is not one simulation run enough? because ns2 is a discrete even simulation and network is a Markov chain that the next events is totally independent on the previous one (memory less) so no need to repeat the simulation again and again! or in other word the time step in ns2 (less than .0001 sec) makes the stochastic model behaves well and can manage the accuracy of simulation. Could you please tell me if I am correct or wrong?
