How in the world do you use these right-click driven WMs?
 

Blah! I just tried out Enlightenment and Fluxbox, and I just don't get it. There are no icons, and I can't figure out how to open programs! I don't want to have to open a console to use X-Chat. I want to just open it. Not much of a WM without that. HOW HOW HOW do I do this? Otherwise I'm going back to XFCE. Lol.

Usually you just left click or right click the mouse to bring up a menu to select your programs you have installed.

:D.... I personally think icons on a desktop are ugly and just take up space. Oh well, that's just my opinion though.

You open up an terminal, you pick which one, I usually go with whatever is at the top of the first menu I can find (probably Xterm, or Eterm in Enlightenment). Then run the programs from the command line. This gives you more control, and usability on alot of them anyway.

To me the gui is for using a program, not executing the command to open it. And not even all programs need a gui either. I rip, compress, transfer (via firewire) and burn video without ever using a gui, all command.
