how do you remove Red hat version 9.1
 
I have just install Red hat version 9.1 guy's and i really don't want to play around with it i must say that Red hat has improve and become more user friendly towards end users specially those who are newbies like me and fed up of MS.


I would like to remove red hat the problem is when i insert my windows 2000 server disk into the server it does not boot up from it i have check my hardware setting all looks the same so how can i uninstall red hat.

You are kidding, right? why a newbie would need a winblows server? there are no uninstall OS things as someone may mess up all the things accidently.

Just format the hard disk or delete the partition! If the BIOS setting is correct, you shopuld be able to boot up from a CD. Most people use linux+winblows. You can try to format the HDD like that so you can use 2 OS together. Linux don't write NTFS and winblows don't read linux HDD so it would be safe.

- NTFS (40%)
- Ext2fs (40%)
- linux swap (1G)
- FAT32 (<20%) for data exchange between winblows and linux

search "ranish" in google

you can make a boot floppy in a fd's house and do the partition things. It's much better than ms fdisk
