how do you authorize of installation of flash on ubuntu

I've been trying to install flash player on ubuntu but it asks for authorization i asked my dad and he just said research it!

it is asking for your sudo user password. the primary user on the computer is sudo. so
if I am the sudo user the main guy that loaded the system. that is the user login password.
if you logged out and then logged in what password would you use. that is sudo user login password is what it wants.
