How do set mplayer to loop by default?

I know with xine, I can just hit the "L" while a video is playing. Does mplayer have anything like that? Is there anything in the mplayer config file I can edit to get mplayer to loop by default?

Like it says in the manpage:

loop=0

Put it in your config file to make it default.

Putting loop=0 in the mplayer.conf file caused me to lose my mouse. I had to reboot my system to get my mouse back.

Also, mplayer seems to play everything in slow motion, and won't play .WMVs any more - it used to. At least it's better than xine, which only gives me frozen static.

Multi-media with Debian is so much fun.

try "loop=500", that should be enough for a loop, no song or movie is worthy 500 times, lol.
