how do i upgrade my linux os so that it may support hindi
hi,
i am using fedora core4.During installation of fedora i just chose english as the language...but now i want to work with indian languages.
i have tried to upgrade my system by going to desktop->system settings->add/remove applications and there in the languages i chose additional languages and the steps also demanded fedora's 3rd CD to be inserted.
after all this the language pack showed 7/51 which included all the languages that i selected.but when i close the add/remove applications window and go back again to it what i see is 0/51.there is a check box next to the language section and it is never selected.once i select it ,it again shows 7/51.
also in the desktop->system settings->language only english is displayed.
can anyone help me.
thanks
shweta
