How do I uninstall Ubuntu that's dual booted next to windows XP

Wanted to do a friend a favor and installed Ubuntu next to her XP. I have Linux on both my desktop and laptop and love it. She didn't like it and the boot options at startup are a pain. I can't figure out how to uninstall. It should be easy, right? I'm a newbie and don't want to damage her XP OS. Thanks for any help! Carb1024

Start from the XP CD and launch the recovery/repair shell.
Then type in the command
Code:
fixmbr
You can now use the GParted partitioner, which is included on the Ubuntu Live Cd, to remove the Ubuntu partitions and extend the XP partition to its prior size.

As always, make backup before doing anything.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to say, she does not have a XP CD. That would have been to easy! Is there another way?

I did as instructed and ran fixmbr. Now it won't boot at all.
