After switching from Ubuntu 12.04 to Peppermint OS, it came time install synergy (client) and I had forgotten how annoying it was to find out how to configure synergy to start before login when using encryption. I had been using 1.6.4 for a long time but decided to upgrade synergy to 1.7.3 for the new install. Previously my lighdm.conf looked like this:
Code:
[SeatDefaults]
allow-guest=false
user-session=ubuntu
greeter-session=unity-greeter
display-setup-script=/usr/bin/synergyc --crypto-pass bd5f65cb5dba64c694071d3a7b3c0cd3 192.168.3.212
My problem is the new ssl encryption the --crypto-pass option does not appear to work. The server key remains the same throughout reboots, though I cannot substitute the MD5 hash for the new ssl key. Does anyone have an idea what the proper syntax is?
