how do i set up my web server to use the Cgi-bin


my question is as the subject says:
how do i set up my web server to use the Cgi-bin?

i have apache 2.0.40 and PERL and PHP under Red Hat Linux 8. the software came with the install of the OS?

As far as I know there is no need to "set anything up". /var/www/cgi-bin is designated for your cgi scripts. Just put the scripts you want to use in that directory and point your html code there for all cgi scripts.

thank you. could you please help me i am actually trying to set perl script to run, and i am having alot of problems? do you have any messanger that we can chat on. i have MSN messanger. please. my email is cctv_server@hotmail.com
