Either that or sh <filename>.sh.
Make sure the file is executable if you try ./<filename>.sh, do that by the following command :
chmod +x <filename>.sh

I Installed FireBird by unpacking it and then copy it to /usr/local/MozillaFirebird
and also to get it into the path i added a symlinc to /usr/bin
The first line here creates a link. The second line renames it to a shorter and neater name
Code:
ln -s /usr/local/MozillaFirebird/MozillaFirebird /usr/bin"
mv /usr/bin/MozillaFirebird /usr/bin/firebird

Did you download the tar or the installer?

The tar.. didn't even know there was an installer.

http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firebird/...nux-gnu.tar.gz

Can someone please download Check.Sh from there (its only 12kb) and see how to run it please? I cant get it to run with either ./Check.sh or sh Check.sh Or is there any other way to figure out which x version i got so i can download the right driver?
