how do i rum my program

hello everyone,

i am new to the linux game (4 days), but picking it up pretty quickly. I am using Man 9.2 and was able to successfully ./configure, make, make install the giFT source with ease once i changed the year in my system clock, but anyway, i was wandering how i might actually utilize this program now that it's in there.

Thank you in advance for your help

just run "giftd" to start the gift daemon. you do realise that it is only a daemon, and has no interface at all? you'll also want to install something like giftcurs to use gift properly.

http://gift.sf.net tells you all you need to know. yes there is a fasttrack plugin, and it comes with all the docs to configure it.

as for what command to run to start giftd, i've already told you this as well... "giftd" please read replies completely!
