How do I reset AlsaModularSynth
Trying to get audio setup with Suse9.2.
I had alsa modular synth coming up when asked but I must have changed something, now it will not locate ladspa and closes.
Question is: How do I reset AlsaModularSynth to default settings?
==========
:~> ams
You did not set the environment variable LADSPA_PATH.
Assuming LADSPA_PATH=/usr/lib/ladspa:/usr/local/lib/ladspa
loadPath: , savePath:
Alsa_driver: detected more than 1024 playback channnels, reset to 2.
Alsa_driver: can't set playback period size to 1024.
Can't connect to ALSA
==========
ams shuts down but leves a midi channel thingy running in jack connections.
I cannot find out how to set LADSPA_PATH in ams.
I added this to .profile
export LADSPA_PATH=/usr/lib/ladsp
I've tried these commands:
--
717 ams
718 ams --help
719 ams --presetpath /usr/lib/ladspa/ --frag 2 --poly 5 --soundcard hw:0,0 &
720 ams
721 ams --frag 3
722 ams --preset /usr/lib/ladspa/cs_chorus.so
723 ams --preset --savepath /usr/lib/ladspa/
724 ams --savepath /usr/lib/ladspa/
725 killall -9 ams
726 ams
727 ams
728 ams --presetpath /usr/lib/ladspa/ --frag 4 --poly 5 --soundcard hw:0,0 &
729 ams ENV=LADSPA PATH=/usr/lib/ladspa
730 ams --help
731 ams
732 listplugins
733 ladcca --help
734 export LADSPA_PATH=/usr/local/lib/ladspa
735 export LADSPA_PATH=/usr/lib/ladspa
736 ams
737 listplugins
These work fine:
675 artsshell -q terminate
676 qjackctl >& /dev/null &
677 hydrogen -d jack >& /dev/null &
